I am a resident of Harford County. My art education consists of watercolor and oil painting classes at Harford Community College as well as Design classes at Towson University. I have also taken workshops with local artists and international watercolorist Eric Weigardt.

I was always interested in the arts and crafts but did not actually start painting until 1998. I enjoy both oil and watercolor, but for completely different reasons. I find oil painting relaxing because I can constantly rework it and keep redefining the painting. There is always something to adjust and I find this relaxing and also meditative. I find myself drawn to watercolor for the exact opposite reason. It is challenging and dynamic - you don't have a second chance with watercolor and sometimes what you think you are going to paint ends up being something totally different. I find watercolor painting very stimulating.
